Georgian strongly figured mahogany chest with mahogany cross-banding, satinwood stringing and edging, four graduated cock-beaded drawers, scalloped apron, French splay feet, ivory escutcheons, original gilded knobs. Chesnut secondary wood. Most likely from the Channel Islands.
