Georgian period black Japanned longcase clock by William Young, London, eight-day movement with anchor escapement, break-arch dial with cast brass urn and dolphin spandrels, calendar and seconds ring, strikes on the hour, pagoda top with three gilded wood ball and spire finials, plinth base. Chinoiserie painted decoration features scenes of pavilions, courtiers and foliage.
