French walnut open arm bergere with shaped back crest, upholstered arm pad extending to carved acanthus leaf S-scrolled arm supports, hipped cabriole legs front and back with carved shell motif on knees ending in hooved feet. Seat apron also having shell and foliate design. Original horsehair padding with hessian covering.
